Course Outline

The purpose of the course is to understand the relationship between populations and random samples through estimator functions and their distributions. This bidirectional relationship allows for the prediction of the form of (unknown) random samples from known populations and the description of unknown populations from known random samples. Upon completing the course, students will have acquired the knowledge that will enable them to advance to the study of Statistical Inference."
