Course Outline


Through this course, students will be introduced to the concept of multimedia, video formats, and the characteristics of digital images through practical exercises. They will learn the basic functions of creating and editing videos using free software. By the end of the semester, they will be able to create videos using mobile devices, fully adhering to the specifications of a professional production at every stage (script, storytelling, pre-production, production, post-production). Additionally, students will learn how to create audio messages/stories (podcasts) and the techniques behind their production. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:
  • Understand what a multimedia application is and its characteristics.
  • Learn the process of digitizing images, audio, and video.
  • Familiarize themselves with the fundamental features of a digital image.
  • Become proficient in using free software for editing images, audio, and video.
