Course Outline
Science and Everyday Life is a science course with lab. The aim of the course is to give students a better understanding of basic principles in different fields of
physical and natural sciences and their applications in everyday life. Topics
are seen from multiple perspectives (physics, chemistry, astronomy, medicine, but
also, history of science and implications for life and society). Emphasis is
given on the understanding of concepts.
Knowledge gained in this course will help students develop a more critical
way of thinking about new advances in science and technology in a rapidly
changing and increasingly complex world.
