Sociology of Religion Ι

The central question guiding the development of both the main theoretical and historical assumptions in the Sociology of Religion is: the processes of secularization in Western civilization and the question of the resurgence of religions. This core question will be examined through the theoretical approaches of the classical sociologists, as well as those authors whose contributions to the Sociology of Religion are considered significant.
