Course Outline


This course is intended for teachers in training to learn and develop the necessary skills for teaching science in Primary Education, especially those related to Biology and Geology. To this end, they must know how to transfer the disciplinary contents to school contents, the criteria for sequencing the teaching of this knowledge, as well as acquire skills to plan and develop their teaching. This also means that they will deepen and update some of the basic knowledge related to the natural environment, especially from the perspective of sustainability. In this way, this subject is intended for teachers in training to develop ethical values related to health, consumption and the main socio-ecological problems.
