Amelia Perez

Since 2018, she has been a Transparency Expert at the Vice-Rectorate for Social Responsibility and Culture of the University of Murcia. She is also an assistant teacher of Economic History. She coordinates the management of Transparency at the University of Murcia, as well as the projects derived from its Transparency Portal. She is the person responsible for the management of data and transparency indicators of different national rankings, having achieved the University of Murcia the category of the most transparent University in Spain in 2022, according to the DYNTRA index. Amelia Pérez has coordinated the different University departments for the preparation of the Social Responsibility reports of the University of Murcia, using the GRI standards and SDG goals. She is currently working on her doctoral thesis, which will deal with real estate development and its effect on the welfare state in the Region of Murcia. This process has led her to participate as a speaker in several conferences in Spain and Portugal, presenting the results obtained so far. In terms of publications, she has co-authored two books on good practices in the public administration and the role of corporate social responsibility.
